HOW TO RECEIVE JESUS

The Bible tells us every person is a sinner

Romans 3:23:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
1 John 1:8:
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

The wages of sin is death

Romans 6:23:
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
James 1:15:
"Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death."

You can't save your own self
​
Titus 3:5:
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit."

Salvation is already DONE for all
​
Acts 4:12:
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Repent

Luke 13:3:
"I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."

Confess

1 John 1:9:
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Romans 10:9:
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Believe

Acts 16:31:
"So they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.'"

Say the Prayer of Salvation
​
"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinful person, I humble myself and repent from all of my sins please I ask for your forgiveness through your precious blood to cleanse me, I open my heart to you, I will accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for your salvation Iam born again in Jesus name, Amen."
